Concept build — a demonstration, not a real client Built by Olympro Studio →

For women done with toning, shrinking and starting over every January

Get genuinely strong in 12 weeks. Without shrinking yourself to do it.

The Strength Standard puts a barbell in your hands and a number on your progress. Three sessions a week, eating enough to actually build something.

The real problem

You've been told to shrink for fifteen years. It hasn't worked.

Not because you lacked discipline — you've had plenty. Because almost every programme sold to women is built to make you smaller, and smaller was never actually the thing you wanted.

The system

The Standard

Three phases, twelve weeks. It ends with numbers on a board, not a photo you're anxious about.

PHASE 01 — WEEKS 1–4

Base

Technique before load. We film every main lift, fix what needs fixing, and find your genuine starting weights instead of guessing. We also put your calories back up — almost everyone arrives underfed, and you cannot build strength on 1,300 calories.

Phase 1

PHASE 02 — WEEKS 5–10

Build

Three sessions built on squat, hinge, press and pull, with the load going up on a schedule rather than on feel. You'll add weight to the bar most weeks. This is the part nobody has ever given you, and it's the part that changes your shape.

Phase 2

PHASE 03 — WEEKS 11–12

Prove

Test week. We retest every main lift and put the numbers next to where you started. Most clients add 50–80 lb to their deadlift in a first block. You finish knowing exactly what you can do, which is a different feeling entirely from hoping the scale moved.

Phase 3

What you get

Everything, in one place

01

Real strength programming

Built around your schedule and your lifts. Progression written in, not improvised week to week.

02

Eating enough

Targets that support training instead of undercutting it. No 1,200-calorie plans, ever.

03

Weekly check-ins

Lift data, energy and recovery reviewed every Sunday. Adjustments land Monday.

04

Video form review

Send your working sets. You get timestamped coaching back, not a thumbs up emoji.

05

Direct line

Message me during the week. Replies inside 24 hours, from me, not an assistant.

06

The app

Programme, logging, video upload and your full lift history. Works offline in the gym.

Coach, candid

Who you'd be working with

Elena Voss

I competed in powerlifting for seven years and spent most of them being the only woman in the room who knew what she was doing there. I started coaching in 2017 because the women asking me questions between sets were getting terrible advice everywhere else.

I've since coached over 600 women — nurses, teachers, mothers, people with three hours a week and a commercial gym they find intimidating. Almost none of them wanted to compete. Nearly all of them wanted to stop feeling weak and stop being hungry.

I don't do shred challenges, detoxes, or before-and-after photos you have to suck in for. We put weight on the bar and we track it.

Before you apply

This works well for some people and badly for others

A good fit if

  • You want to get strong, and you're willing to eat enough to do it
  • You can get to a gym with a barbell three times a week
  • You're prepared to film your lifts and take coaching on them
  • You're done with programmes that measure success by how little you eat
  • You'd rather add 60 lb to your deadlift than lose 6 lb on a scale

Not a fit if

  • Weight loss is the only outcome you'd count as success
  • You want results in six weeks for a specific event
  • You only have access to classes or cardio machines
  • You're not willing to increase your calories in the first month
  • You want someone to check the plan you've already written

Questions

Before you ask

Will lifting heavy make me bulky?

No. This is the question I get most and the answer hasn't changed in nine years. Building visible muscle takes years of deliberate effort and a calorie surplus. What twelve weeks of real strength training does is change your shape — which is what most people actually meant when they said "toned."

What does coaching cost?

Coaching starts at $350 per month with a twelve-week minimum. The exact figure depends on check-in frequency and whether video review is included. I'll give you the number on the call, and I'd rather tell you now than waste half an hour if it's out of range.

I've genuinely never touched a barbell. Is that a problem?

Not at all — about a third of my clients start there. Phase one exists precisely for this. You'll film every lift and I'll coach the technique before we add meaningful load. Being new is fine. Being unwilling to be coached is not.

Do I have to eat more? That feels backwards.

It does, and it's usually the hardest part. Most women arriving here have been under-eating for years, which is exactly why nothing has changed. You can't build strength from a deficit. We go up gradually and we track how you feel, not just the scale.

Only three days a week? That seems low.

Three well-programmed sessions beat five improvised ones every time. It also fits a real life, which is why people finish the block instead of quitting in week six.

What if it isn't working?

We review every four weeks against the targets set at intake. If your lifts aren't moving and you've done the work, the programme changes — that's what you're paying for. If you haven't done the work, I'll say so.

Twelve weeks from now you'll know exactly what you can lift.

Applications take about three minutes. I read every one myself and reply within 24 hours either way.
